Hand Built Frames

Cloud 9 Cycles are the only bike shop in London that can hand build frames and from Summer 2014 will be building the frames in house.

Before we build any frame we will need to sit down and discuss with the customer exactly what they would like to get from the bike and how it will be used.

Once we have this information we can then choose the design of the frame and the tubing it will be built from.

The majority of our frames are built using Reynolds or Columbus steel tubing and can be either fillet brazed or tig welded.

The beauty of a custom made frame is that it will fit you perfectly and your body will not have to adapt to the geometry.

Having the perfect fit will give a much more comfortable journey allowing the rider to push harder and longer than on an "off the shelve" bike.

Each frame that we build is extremely important and we want to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied with the end result...this should be the last frame you ever buy :)

The entire process of building the frame takes approximately 2 weeks and it is great to be in constant communication with the client.

If you would like to talk about a hand built frame please feel free to pop into store or send us an email: info@cloud9cycles.com and we would love to start the journey together.
